CILANTRO - Culinary Herb (Coriandrum sativum)
I LOVE this CILANTRO. It is very prolific and it produces lots for me. Cilantro will germinate under very cool conditions and warm conditions. It will reseed itself as well. The leaves can be cut/picked for your culinary uses while allowing the plant to flower and go to seed. It even brings bumblebees when it's flowering. The dry seeds that Fall will germinate and continue to make more plants. Well at least that's how it goes for me. This is one herb I can not live without. Last Fall I planted seeds from my plants and winter came before the plants matured. They actually overwintered in Zone 7a and are still alive in my herb boxes outside. Love this great tasting herb!
