Cobaea scandens, commonly called Cathedral Bells or Cup and Saucer Vine, is native to Mexico and tropical South America. It’s a tender perennial grown as an annual in colder areas. The flowers are bell-shaped and start off green turning purple. This vine takes awhile to start blooming although its leaves will quickly create a screen and cover a trellis or arbor rather quickly.
